How early is to early to announce the pregnancy? I was thinking about doing it after we tell my boyfriends parents so about April 5th and I'll be 9 weeks. Is that to early?

I think it's good to tell parents whenever. You need support if anything were to happen. We told people at 10 weeks but I've also never had any miscarriages and I got pregnant really quick

I'm waiting until 12 weeks for everyone but my parents. It's a personal decision though - you do what's right for you!

I told at only 6 weeks because I had a super adorable Christmas announcement planned lmfao thankfully I'm now 18 weeks and baby is still going strong but most people say wait till 12 weeks

My first pregnancy we announced early and miscarried. Waited till 2nd trimester to tell this time. My advice is only tell people early that you are comfortable knowing if something goes wrong...

When I had my miscarriage, I ended up telling people because I didn't want to hide the fact that my child existed. So I only waited till 10 weeks because I wanted to have special time with my husband to absorb being pregnant again... there is no "safe point" in pregnancy.. so don't wait for that. Tell people when YOU are comfortable!  Keep in mind that the minute you share your news with the world, unwelcome advice will come out of nowhere lol!!

I think I might take a leap of faith and announce it at 9 1/2 weeks. He doesn't care when I announce it as long as his family knows first and we're announcing it to them and the rest of my family on Easter.
