Are you requiring everyone who will be around your baby get the TDAP/Whooping cough vaccine?

My doctor kept stressing that everyone who comes in contact with my little one should have the TDAP vaccine. My question is, "everyone?" Me and my husband obviously will get it, and I asked both sets of grandparents to get it as they will be here for semi extended periods of time. However, friends that stop by for a quick visit and people like this, are you requiring them to get the vaccine as well or they can't see your baby?

I can't ask every single person who comes into contact with her to get it so I'm asking, if they even have so much as a sniffle to stay away. When they come around, they will be washing their hands as well. And since people (family) opted not to get the shot after I requested that they did, I will ask that they not kiss her face or hands. I'm a FTM and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm paranoid. It took a long time to conceive this little miracle (I have PCOS and only 1 ovary) and I don't want to lose her over something preventable.

My dad made sure all my siblings and their boyfriend and girlfriends got it. And then my mom. And then I told my husband to tell his parents they all needed it. But as far as people visiting I didn't. I just made sure they washed their hands and weren't sick.

A friend of ours had a baby who ended up with whooping cough from a neighbor dropping in.. terrifying! Baby was hospitalized and almost didn't make it. After that, we will require anyone near baby in the first month or so be vaccinated. Otherwise, after that they are welcome to swing by!
