Salami during pregnancy?

Help! I've been eating salami and having major cravings, but everyone is telling me I shouldn't eat it. I buy the expensive nitrate free kind and microwave it until it sizzles(only 10 seconds)! Should I quit eating it? 😩

Omg I really hate this debate on freaking cold cuts.. Seriously my grandmother and mother and aunt said it was the most stupid thing to stress over cause one time or another that's all they craved and ate! And I went through the same thing! The only thing I would eat between weeks 7-12 of pregnancy was a turkey sub from wawa with extra mayo and pickles, and from 13-now (almost 17 weeks along now) I've been eating a salami sandwich every day one time I even ate a half pound of freaking salami cause baby and I were craving it! He's doing fantastic inside me healthy as can be and my doctor isn't concerned at all (she wasn't happy) but she definitely isn't concerned! Give into your cravings and eat the sandwich !!

I have eaten lunch meat through all three of my pregnancies and they have all been fine. I don't understand why everyone freaks out either. My sister and sister in law would look at me like I was crazy. But I'm telling you something about a toasted ham sandwich sounds amazing! Lol

I am seriously craving salami! 38 weeks and I requested a salami sandwich after I have my baby. It's fine to have if you hear it up. I don't care what everyone else says my doctor says no cold cuts so I don't eat any. Warming it up just isn't the same for me.

I think lettuce has a higher risk of listeria than deli meats! Just get good brands 👌
