Are you gaining or losing with GDM?

Question

I'm just curious. I'm 22 weeks tomorrow and down 12lbs (baby is about 1lb, 1oz). Doc's not worried so neither am I, but it does make me curious about other GDM experiences.

I gain a few, then lose it all in a week. My body doesn't tolerate all of the carbs my nutritionist wants me to eat(210g, I usually hover around 130g-140g), so the weeks I eat less carbs, that's when my weight will drop. Total I've gained 1.2 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. I lost 5 lbs in my first trimester, and haven't gone more than 5 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight.
