Why did you get a c section?

Question

I'm curious as to why you got a c section. Did something go wrong during delivery or other medical reasons. I'd love to hear your stories

I had an emergency c section! It was 11am when my water broke when I arrive at the hospital the head nurse told me that the baby had made meconium and so my water was brown me I check to see how many cm I was and told me that only I was 1 cm and the baby had not gone down, they had to make me an emergency C-section when they doing caesarian I hear the doctor say the baby had the umbilical cord doubly wrapped around its neck but thank God everything went well and my baby is 3 years old now

I had to get a c section with my first due to me having  Polyhydramnios ! My baby come out 9 lbs I couldn't push her out if I tried lol

With my oldest my water broke I pushed for hours he was face up and heart rate was dropping so I had to have an emergency c section. They put me under so I was not awake during the dwlivery. My second c section was because I was having twins. The Dr said if it was just one baby I could have a vbac but since it was twins another section. Now with this pregnancy my dr said I have to have another section because it's to high risk to deliver vaginally. She is scheduling it since she doesn't even want me to go into labor on my own cause of the higher risk of a rupture. I was very disappointed with my last two pregnancies my waters broke and I went I to labor on my own. This is not the way I wanted this one.

My blood pressure went up and doc had to induce me but after 6 hours I had only diluted 1cm and baby was starting to show signs of distress. Doc stopped the induction fluids and baby calmed down but I went backwards (only dilated 0.5cm 🙈). So we did the Maths and worked out that we could potentially be in labor for over 24 hours with no guarantee. So we made to decision to go for a c-section. 
Turned out to be the best decision as baby wasn't coming out the right way and could have ended up with complications and an emergency caesarean.

Currently pregnant with #2 and planning on going straight for a c-section as I really didn't find recovery very difficult.

I'm having a scheduled c section due to a huge cyst on my ovary that is blocking my cervix, so baby girl won't be able to get out on her own. Only 17 more days!

My son was breech and 11 weeks premature. They didn't want to risk him coming out the wrong way.

My youngest was a emergency c section. I started active labor at 3am in the morning, by 11 pm my sons heart rate dropped. We found out when he was 2 months old that he has craniosynostosis (skull was fused together). He had correct surgery at 4 months old. :)
