How soon did you go into labour after losing your mucus plug?

If you lost your mucus plug how long did it take for labour to start?

I'm 39 weeks exactly and after having a membrane sweep yesterday I've just lost my mucus plug how long can I expect before labour starts?

I lost mine all at once - lightly streaked with blood- unmistakable. Waters broke about an hour later but no contractions. Had to be induced later that evening since water had gone.

I lost mine on a Tuesday night and immediately got stronger cramps. Wednesday I lost the rest of it tinged with blood and went into labor on Thursday.

My OB told me that when you lose your mucous plug has no correlation to when you go into labor.

Never had BH contractions, was starting to worry about it all closing in on 39W...woke up feeling very unwell 39W1D, ate a slice of toast for breakfast & 3 hot chips at the shops (first day off work was supposed to spend a week finalising things), got home, exhausted, waters broke that afternoon. No plug, no contractions yet, nothing, that I noticed anyways and I was keeping a close eye on things from about 37W

Mine was a few hours before contractions started. I had a really long labor with very regular contractions from the start..I was at the hospital the following morning and had my son that night.
