Has anyone ever had kids with a years difference between them?

I think you should wait until your child is older so you can give your firstborn all the attention that he/she needs as a little one.

I was told it's best for us as women to give ourselves a 2 year break between having children because pregnancy draws a lot out of the mother's body and bones. So, by putting a 2 year gap between children, it gives your body a chance to recuperate.

You and your partner need to agree.  This is a personal decision and we can't tell you what is right.  My first 2 are 15 months apart.  I feel like that made it pretty easy because they were pretty much on the same schedule and into the same things.  Now that they're 2 & 3 it's a pain because they're both going through the unreasonable toddler phase. My 3rd is due in June and the difference between her and the middle child will be 3 years.  It will be interesting to see how different that dynamic is.

My nephews are 11 months apart and they are super close they do everything together. They love being together and you get diapers out of the way around the same time so that's kinda neat right? It's all personal preference and what you and your partner agree on.

We've personally already talked about it and we decided to go one right after the other.

My two brothers are 13 months apart. When they were little it was fine but once the hit elementary school they really started to butt heads. It breaks my heart that they aren't very close now. 
My younger always felt overshadowed by the older one. And the older on still thinks the younger one got to do more. The older one still thinks we can boss the younger one. 
My niece and nephew are 12 months apart and they can be horrible to each other . My niece is older and always belittles the younger one. The younger one used to be submissive to her but now that he's getting older he isn't and she's starting to be meaner to him because of it. 
Yet I know 2 sister the fight bad but say they're best friends and always hang out together. 
Others may be true best friends
