How to pack a hospital bag?

Hi guys, I wonder what to bring to hospital when in labor? I don't want to panic and miss the important things. So I'm planning on getting my bag ready when the time comes.

One thing I never see mentioned but something that I absolutely must bring is a pillow and blanket from home. Just a nice, soft, colorful, comfortable plush throw that smells like my home and hasn't been used by hundreds of other patients.

I used a small tote like bag for me and the diaper bag for baby. Make sure you check with your hospital but they will likely provide diaper and wipes, bath stuff, and even shirts. For mom, my hospital provided bath stuff (cheapie brands) and post labor comforts (mesh underwear, nipple cream, ect). Have a list handy so you can stay focused and on track. I had a list of things I used everyday so I couldn't pack ahead of time. It was easy to grab all that on my way out the door.
