Most babies are born weighing 7lbs so most babies weigh 6 pounds up to 10 pounds.

You will need a bunch of newborn diapers on average you change SIX diapers a day. Size one usually is from ten pounds up maybe some start at eight but seriously don't listen to those women who say don't buy any just one pack will get you through hell no it won't especially if you have a 7lb baby or what about preemie.

My advice get Newborn diapers and yes wait to stock up because you don't know what brand you or baby will like. :)
