Any hope?

Was told my baby was between 5 and 6 weeks at the e.r. I'm really suppose to be 10wks. Should I find out from a obgyn or take the word from the e.r? Is there any hope they could be wrong or did I really miss miscarriage?

I was told at the e.r it measured 5-6 weeks and it was no heart beat. I know you really can't hear one at 5weeks. Maybe around 8 weeks... I will find out for sure later this week. Thanks ladies. #fingerscrossed

Never just take the er Dr at his word. Go see your obgyn! They will run blood work and do an ultrasound most likely. ... good luck

Obgyb, they are specifically trained, the ER is general medical training  with specialist on call but they only come if they are called bc of a problem

You may have just ovulated later in your cycle. As long as your baby appears to be growing, your hormone levels are going up, and they can find a heart beat try not to worry until they tell you otherwise.
