If it's a boy, will you circumcise?

I would personally never circumcise my child. It's so barbaric and unnecessary, plus it takes away sensitivity and pleasure. Just my thoughts.

I didn't circumcise my last child I won't do it with this one either. 
Call me selfish or whatever you want but no means no and that's it. Both of my sons will be fine and me being their Mother am confident of it.

No. My first child was circumcised per his fathers request. I was not educated in the subject because I never thought it was a big deal and thought all boys get it done (most boys in PR get it done and there isn't this debate). My second was a girl so the only decision I had to make was to not pierce her ears until she was old enough to ask for it.
Now, I am no longer married to my kids father. My boyfriend is not circumcised, I guess it's not the norm in Honduras. And he already put his foot down that if this baby is a boy he won't be circumcised either. I am perfectly fine with it, just told him he will have to teach me how to take care of his boy parts since I heard the cleaning and all that is different.

I could not even begin to see how people think it's as natural to cut off a piece of your baby's flesh, circumcision is just wrong. Claiming that you're doing it because it is more sanitary the solely for your benefit not his. I feel like It should be your son's decision on how he would want his penis to look and be, not yours. What next are we going to start allowing people to remove the lips of a little girl parts so it's easier for them to clean to?!

Would you cut a baby girls bits off just on the off chance they don't clean it properly??? Because the majority who want to circumcise do it for "hygiene reasons"

I've been researching it for a while and I've heard many many horror stories from friends an family. My brother wasn't cut enough and had horrible pain until puberty, a friend's brother had a chunk taken out of the head of his penis. My sis had to help stitch up a botched circumcision that required 15 stitches (she's a nurse) and a little boy of a friend had too much taken off and now he screams in pain when he has an erection. I would never ever have the procedure done to my child unless there was a medical necessity. I do think even though the procedure is pushed heavily in US we are moving away from routine cutting.

Not everyone that has their sons circumcised do it strictly for cleanliness purposes. Some do it for religious reasons.

Wow... if a boy grows up and resents his parents because of a choice of circumcision, he must have some more underlining issues.
If we have a son, we will not circumcise our son. My husband has a scar from a slip from the procedure- nothing major, but why chance it?
