Red raspberry leaf Pills?

Question

Is anyone taking these pills? I have several friends that started taking these in the 3rd trimester, it's been said they help with contractions. I asked my doctor and she said she can't say one way or the other but wouldn't advise before 39 weeks.

It takes a few weeks for it to build up in your system so you should actually be taking it before 39 weeks. Mama natural has a great episode about it. My midwives also recommend drinking it starting at least in the beginning of you 3rd trimester. It's also great when your not pregnant to help with right after you birth to keep your uterus shrinking properly and when you have normal periods.

With my first I started drinking the tea 1-2 days shy of 39 weeks and i had my daughter at 39 weeks 4 days. Not sure if it was the tea or just nature but I'll probably start drinking the tea again around the same time. Can't hurt! Lol
