How did your labor go?

It was amazing. My water broke at 11:30 am. Around noon I started feeling contractions. Got to the hospital at 1 and I was dilated to a 5. My contractions were coming hard and fast so I got the epidural around 2:30. My doctor came in around 3:30 and said I was fully dilated and ready to go and she thought she was just coming to say hi. They set me up. I pushed for 4 minutes and my son was born at 3:52 pm that day :) First baby and I had never experienced a single Braxton hick or real contraction or anything during my pregnancy.

It went hell for me lol pain was anbearable had to have epidural which i didnt plan at all wanted to have natural birth but didnt go as how i wanted it lol

Much much easier than the pregnancy. I got the epidural with my 2 boys and I did not hurt at all. I recovered very fast, few stitches with my first baby, any with my second and I did not need pain medicine for the pp.

It was ok lol VERY painful, but that was mainly because I wasn't relaxing like I should of, but once I got the Epidural everything went amazing 😊except the I was having complications pushing so they told me to wait a half an hour to relax,I fell asleep and woke up and an hour and a half went by,I was sooo pissed off because my son was in the birth Canal all that time....Anyways it was a interesting experience 😊

First one was aweful, had a horrible doctor who was extremely rude. I was induced. Labor was 19 1/2 hours long. Had to have back to back epidurals because the first one wouldn't take. Pushed for 45 mins. Recovery was rough. With my second I got a new amazing doctor. Went in to start a low pitocin drip to see if she would drop, I was overdue, as soon as they hooked up the IV my water broke. Had to have back to back epidurals again because the first one didnt take. Was in labor for 5 hours pushed 2 times and she was out. Amazing labor amd recovery with my second. Hoping for the same with my third.

Induced at midnight,water broke around 9am then it was getting me to dilate and progress from then till she came out at 10:04pm. 22hours of labor with no sleep or eating but all worth it in the end :)

With my daughter who is no 6 and 1/2....lost mucous plug at home on a Tuesdsy. Contractions thwarted that day. Continued contractions and labored at home until Wednesday evening. Went to the hospital about 45 minutes away. Tried walking around but my back labor pains were so bad I made it downstairs and barely back up. Pain meds administered sometime in the night, made me puke. Got my epidural, don't know when. Made me puke and dry heave. Doc had to break my water. It took forever to dilate completely, there was a "lip" on the upper part of my cervix that would not thin out. They kept manually trying to push it back. Epidural made my legs go completely dead. I couldn't move them at all. Paralyzed from the waist down. Held onto my legs so hard that I had bruises on the backs of my legs lol.  Finally had my precious girl just before noon On a Thursday. Cried like a baby. I was so happy and she was just beautiful. Love her more than anything. She's my world :)
