Talking to baby. Yes or no? Advice.

Question

My boyfriend talks to the baby all the time since we found out at 5 weeks. But I don't...I feel guilty about it like I'm horrible for not bonding that way with my baby. 🙈😭 am I wrong for not doing it? 
I've wanted this baby for a longgg time so I am so so excited to be expecting my first baby (girl) I am so in love with her and can't wait to have her in my arms.

I never talk to my babies. I think to them but very rarely do I say anything. If I do usually just "hey stop poking me!" lol 
Honestly I don't think it's that importent. Your child lives in you, they will know the sound of your voice regardless. If you don't feel like bonding in that way then that's just not the way you want to bond and that's okay.

I don't talk to my baby, but my husband does (34weeks).

I bet you bond with your baby in other ways even if you don't realize it. I know I do. I feel a kick, sometimes i poke him back. My hand is always on my tummy. If I feel him on one side, sometimes I put a cold drink on that side of my tummy to move him around a little. If a song comes on the radio that I like, I sing sometimes now (and I never used to sing in the car)

Okay so try this. Cover your mouth and try to talk. That is all they can hear! They can hear tones clearly but not words.

They can hear you the momma better as it vibrates though your bones and is sort of amplified.

I sing and think to my baby all the time.

The more of a sound they hear when in you the more acquainted they are when they are born.

So it is comforting to them. And it's good for daddy to talk more than you because they can hear you every single day. Daddy on the other hand needs to get closer so she can hear. They always hear you :)

You're not wrong for not doing it. Some people do and some don't. I personally never talked to my 1st baby and don't talk to my 2nd either, I just feel weird as if i'm talking to myself but my husband on the other hand would talk to my 1st a lot and he often talks to my current 2nd baby as well, the baby kicks when he talks to him which is pretty cute :)

I don't do it and my mother keeps bothering me about it. I figure he will know my voice regardless since he's inside me.
