Menstrual Cramps?!

So I'm 36+5 and I've been experiencing what feels like "menstrual cramps" in the center of my lower abdomen for the past week and a half. Not sure if these are contractions or what. Anyone else experiencing the same thing??? This is my first baby so I'm not sure what exactly is considered normal!

I was getting cramping like that thought they were contraction went to labor n delivery and they told me it was just stretching from the baby movingfurther into position

Contractions feel almost the same but the pain will be coming from your back to lower belly. And very tight pressure on top of your belly as if it's baby pushing towards your belly button.
