Doing something or nothing for gender reveal?

This is baby #4,first for my husband and I've never known the sex of the baby before birth. So we definitely want to know this time around. Looks like lots of people are doing gender reveal parties, but what about those who aren't. What do you do when you find out? Call/text people? Just seems like a bunch of hype to find out at the ultrasound and what do you do then?
