When do i start to feel baby move ?

I'm 16weeks today and a first time mommy and really want to feel this little nugget! What does it feel like and do I need to be in a certain position to feel it ? I don't know what I'm feeling for !

I've heard flutters being described as butterflies, a twitch, or bubbles popping inside the belly. I'm waiting to feel my baby, too! Hope it happens soon.

With my first I was 16 weeks. If I layed down on my back and poked my belly the baby would kick and you could see my stomach bounce up and down. I don't know how to explain the feeling. Kind of like if someone were to poke you from the inside.

I felt my first just before 17 weeks. It felt like butterflies... Or sometimes little bubbles popping 😊

With my first I didn't feel him until I was 19 weeks, but this time, this little girl made herself known at 16 weeks

With my first I don't remember how many weeks I was when I first felt it but I know at my 16week appt she kicked the ultrasound techs Doppler, and with this second baby I've felt baby since 14weeks I'm 18weeks tomorrow

People feel at different times. My mom's been bugging me since 13 weeks since that's when she felt hers. My ultrasound tech said she didn't feel hers until 20 weeks. I just started feeling mine a few days ago (I'm 16.4). I realized it was the baby late at night when I was laying in bed reading before sleep and that's the only time I've felt it since. It does feel a lot like gas (and also like somebody poking me in a ticklish spot, very weird sensation) but it's in a place where I don't feel gas and at times when I'm not gassy.

Some days it feels like popping but others feel like a crawling feeling inside my tummy which makes me instinctly itch there
