Am I selfish?? (Vaginal birth preference)

Question

I am hoping for a vaginal birth for my girls. Both are head down. I have talked to people who said I should go ahead and have a C-section since I might end up with one anyway. I don't want to have both. Am I wrong for wanting to try vaginal?? My doc is totally for it.

This is not selfish!! You are choosing the best choice for your babies, especially if your doc is on board! Good luck mama

I don't think you're wrong at all for wanting to deliver vaginally!! I'm shooting for the same with my twin boys! They are currently head down and I'm hoping hey stay they way.

A lot of people forget that a c-section is MAJOR surgery that takes a lot to recover from. I fought to have my twin girls vaginally (#3/4) and it was the best decision I ever made. I was able to enjoy my new babies and still take care of my other 2 kids. And Baby B was born footling breech. If your doc is on board and your healthy, it's not selfish at all.

I chose to have a vaginal birth knowing full well that it could end up in a c section. Baby a was head down and b was breech. My dr was totally on board for the vaginal birth too. Both girls were born totally healthy and b was delivered by breech extraction. My twins were my #4/5 so I didn't want to be helpless once I got home.

Of course go for vaginal if you can!! With my first i wanted vaginal birth but that was not the case and ended up gettin a c section.

No way! Who wants the c-section recovery?? My doc is on board with vaginal as long as baby A is head down. Hope it works out for both of us!!

I wanted to do a vaginal birth but baby b was breached. So hell yeah go vaginal! Don't let people talk you out of it if that's what you wanted to do! I don't know if your hospital is different but at mine they would make you deliver in the operation room incase of any complications. So you don't have to worry if they can't get the second one out vaginally.

Who is telling you that you'll probably end up with a c-section? If it's just random people who a) aren't your doctor or b) have not delivered twins then I wouldn't listen to them. 
I wish I could have the chance to deliver vaginally. Both my boys have been breech for months.
