My confession is, when my baby was still a newborn and before I developed a backbone my inlaws expected us to go to their house every single weekend and they wanted us to stay all day and spend the night. I had postpartum depression and was struggling with breastfeeding so I should have just declined and stayed home to heal and bond with my baby. Instead I would go to their house and pretend I "forgot" to pack enough diapers. I would bring 1 or 2 in my diaper bag and say "oops! I forgot to bring enough diapers. Looks like we'll only be able to stay for a little while". I always had extras in my car 😁😁😁 Looking back I realize that probably just made me look like a crappy mom! Lol.
