Want to breastfeed but fiance puts idea down.

So I hadn't really made my mind up to breast feeding until about 30 weeks, I'm now 34 weeks btw. I still plan to supplement if needed and have all that ready.... Well my insurance covered my pump and I got it today. Anyways.... I brought it inside and set the box on our bed and he rudely told me to get it off the bed and put it someplace he couldn't see it.... I thought he would be supportive of the idea, I mean it'll save him money for formula right? He's a firefighter and always tells me how he sees these ladies who now have breast issues because they breastfed.... I have to keep reminding myself I'm doing what's best for our daughter, I mean who knows I might not even have any inside to even feed her!
