My baby is 6 days old today. We had a very traumatic delivery followed by them taking him from me before we got our bonding time and keeping him in the nicu for 3 hours after birth. I still don't have my milk in and We are having a hard time nursing. The doctor told us to supplement formula but now he doesn't want to nurse at all 😒. I still try to nurse him or get him to latch and even bottle feed him on my bare chest, but still no milk. I have been trying to pump when he wont latch but now he's not latching at all. I feel son terrible that I can't provide nourishment for my baby. Any tips on what I can do to get my milk going?
