Teaching a guy new tricks without damaging his ego?

I recently started hooking up with this insanely hot guy, the only issue is it seems he does not know what to do with his tongue... What are some good ways to teach him to slow down and how I like it with out hurting his ego?? He's already visibly insecure about his size and I don't want to ruin things with him by making him feel inadequate. Help pls.

When he goes down on you get him to spell out the ABC while going down on you, then you will find your perfect letters that get you off and get him to do them x

When he's doing something you like, be vocal about it. Tell him when it feels good. Make sure you're having a big enough reaction to certain things, and little to no reaction to the things you don't like...  Let him to figure out what's working and what's not based on how you respond.

You may need to literally tell him. While you're in the middle of things just be like "can we try something new?" Or "I love when you do it like that!" He must need vocal cues stating exactly what you like
