Everything I've read says hcg makes corpus luteum continue to produce progesterone. The fall of hcg makes progesterone fall and that triggers AF and the low progesterone/estrogen causes the hormone chain to start up again and then ovulation occurs. I haven't read anything that says hcg itself in your system prevents ovulation. I recently mc and my progesterone levels were low to start with. I'm wondering if I can ovulate before my hcg ever gets to 0. Has anyone ovulated before they got down to zero? Or had AF before they got to 0?
