Cyst in baby's brain?

I went in for my check up with my ob and she reviewed my anatomy scan for the baby she said all looks good but that the baby has A cyst in his brain.. She told me not to worry because we already did the chromosome test and it didn't show anything to worry about and it should go away.. But can't help but worry.. Anyone have this happen to them?

With my 3rd baby, he had two cysts on his brain, they resolved on their own with no problems at all.

Back in 91 they told my mom to abort my brother because he had so many cysts on his brain. He's fine!

Now that so much time has passed since then I would assume they would have had a serious talk with you if it was something they didn't think would resolve on its own. They would at least need to prepare for surgery at birth and would be scheduling you for a c section I would assume.

If you have lots of questions, ask your doctor until you are reassured! They are there to explain things!

They also saw one in the daughters brain at my 18 week scan and at my 30 week scan it was gone. Apparently it's more common then you think and they all usually go away. Can be alarming to be told about your baby tho.

I have a cyst in my brain.  I am fine, just headaches.  They will likely do an MRI to determine what type it is and just monitor baby.  It's actually pretty common

I had what appeared to be one on my anatomy scan, i have another ultrasound in a few weeks to see if they're gone. My doctor told me if there are no other indicators then I shouldn't worry, and they typically resolve themselves. I haven't worried, it's not worth it getting worked up over something that's probably nothing

Thanks ladies.. The doc told me not to worry and that all my tests and age all play a role in not worry and it resolving itself but it's just so hard not to worry when it's something that has to do with ur baby! But hopefully it's all good in the end and they are gone..
