My midwife has never had a woman get to 41 weeks. From 36 weeks onwards - and not any sooner - take two evening primrose oil capsules and insert two 'up there' (preferably at night wearing a panty liner to bed. 
I was three days early with my first and my friend with the same midwife was five days early. 
I was too scared by induction stories and the increased risk of needing a c-section to not do it

My water broke a week before I was scheduled to be induced with my son in 2012. I'm probably gonna be induced around 38-39 weeks with this baby too.
