Need Relationship Advice !!

I still love my ex , we we're together for 3 years on and off . We talk here and there & hang out like once or twice a month , and I'm still trying to pursue "us" , but recently he told me that he was in love with his recent ex gf & since then he kinda only talks to me when he wants something or wants me to come see him , but I do still love him , So what do I do ? Keep trying to pursue us or just cut that off & remain friends ? or Just cut EVERYTHING off completely with him ?
