What do you think of the name Ever for a boy?

I heard that Alanis Morissette named her son Ever and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. We would name him Everett and then call him Ever for short. Too weird or just weird enough?

Not trying to be mean but my friend dated an Ever.. We always picked on her saying they were never Ever Ever getting back together..

I like Ever better than Everett personally. People make associations with everything. I wouldn't be concerned with what people think about your knickname. Besides that if you're just using Ever as a knickname no one needs to be concerned with that. If you like it use it.
