My dad is a pedophile...what do I do?

I found out my dad was a pedophile a while ago (4 years) but I have never had the guts to confront the situation.
Now I'm 17 and can't do it any longer.
I spoke to my nan who said she'd talk to him and tell him about what he said.
But now I don't know what to do?
What if I see him in public?
What if he seeks me out?

Plus should I tell his fiancé?
Because what if they have children..?
He is also a selector in a major football league and is in a high position of power.
What do I do?!

If I was engaged to a pedophila, I would definitely want someone to tell me before I decide to proceed with wedding plans. But be smart about how and when she finds out. Personally, I wouldn't do it face to face, I'd leave the proof in her mailbox or something and make sure it couldn't be traced back to me.

Please tell someone! I knew a woman who didn't tell anyone that her ex husband was a pedophile and he molested his two grandkids. It could have been prevented if his ex wife had had the courage to tell someone. I know it's not exactly the same situation for you, but if you know, please tell someone.

You want to make sure your findings are factual and not based of gossip and rumour before you destroy somebody's life. If all is infact true, then you should act on it.

I would definitly tell someone, I wouldnt want to tell anyone either like if my dad was a pedophile but this is just serious, you're only 17 as well and one day you'll have children even if it wasnt your dad, would you want your neighbor to be a pedophile and not know about it? 
Tell a therapist about it and make him talk to that person. Its 'okay' as long as he's not active, there are pedophiles who can control their 'needs' but honestly, you should tell someone. And especially your fianceé

Well i know I definitely wouldn't want to associate myself with a pheadophile, dont care its a parent. Plus if i was his fiancé i would want to know something like that and i would then leave him and actually find someone who i can safely have kids with.

Stay away from him if it makes you uncomfortable. You can't exactly do much else. Don't interfere with his fiancé because that's just screwed up
