Have you ever done something you instantly regret

My child is 2 years old and today he and I were playing. I'm currently pregnant with his sibling and he picked up my work phone throwing it at me when I was on the ground and it hit me in the face I instantly slapped him. The horror on his face made my heart sink. I really didn't mean to slap him. I feel awful about it now.
