False negative blood test??

Hey lovelies,

So I had unprotected (pretty much all the time) on my spring break and I had a blood test done and it came back negative after my period was late by a little over a week. It's now been 18 days, but at the same time I might have PCOS... So my question is can I have a false negative blood pregnancy test?? I've taken home tests as well and they all came back negative.

I really doubt that it could be false negative, blood tests are the most accurate.

Blood tests are rarely false neg. A positive result of pregnancy is 5 or more. 
Some pregnancy tests would register 10 or higher or 20 and higher.

If your period is eighteen days late I seriously doubt a blood test would come out negative if you were pregnant. Sounds like there may be a bigger issue here.

There is no such thing as a false negative as there is false positive. My birth control causes me to not get my period for months at a time probably nothing to worry about especially if blood work says negative!

Update: it's been 22 days now, I have an appointment on the 15th to figure out what it is... I've been so emotional tho, Haha
