Should I take a test again or wait?

Cycle last month was 45 days which wasn't normal for me and this month I am waiting for period and still hasn't come I'm on day 44. 
I don't know if to leave it abit long but what's more worrying is that my cycle is so long. 
We are trying for a baby but I don't like doing test as when they come back negative it hurts😞

I always had regular periods and then after my son and my IUD removal, my periods were not as regular. The first period I had was like 29 days, then the next was like 36, then the next 42, then like 27. So weird. My rule each time for testing, was just the last cycle. So if I were you, I'd test tomorrow, if that was how long your last cycle was. Good luck, let me know! Even if it's a negative! I'm rooting for ya!

Do you track when you are ovulating? Typically even with irregular periods a woman's luteal phase (after ovulation) remains pretty consistent. That way if you knew when you ovulated (opks or bbt tracking) you would have a good idea when your period would be due and when to test.
