I had hopes for a vaginal unmedicated birth but my baby had other plans for me. She is laying sideways and won't seem to stay head down. So on my due date (Friday) my doctor wants to perform an External Version then induce me so I can have a vaginal birth and she can get head down. I've heard that the medication they give you to induce is very intense and makes your contractions irregular. So my question is, has anyone been induced and gone without pain medication (like an epidural)?
