My husband and I both got our own versions of anchors (his is big and had a fish around it and mine is tiny and simple) and we both got Ohana after my first miscarriage (his in morse code and mine in script). It worked for us to get a similar idea with our own twist because we have very different taste in tattoos :)

We have talked about getting tattoos together. Not exactly matching, but kinda similar and in about the same spot. Just because we both like the tattoo and placement. And it'd be cool to sorta match, but they'd be different enough to where if we somehow didn't work out it wouldn't be a constant reminder or be incomplete
