The doctors kept trying to push a D&c, but as pro-choice as I am, I needed it to be God's diagnosis, so to speak. Found out at 8wks the baby was small, went for a f.u and the baby had disappeared, and my levels were dropping.  Took another week of hiking, drinking rasberry leaf tea, and cinnamon everything (supposed to help the body) and "Moon.cycle tea" with Dong quia to help my body do it naturally.  Anyway, 12 hrs of hell(why dont they warn you its like labor but no baby, not "a heavy period")...  but I wouldnt have done it any other way, since I had a choice to wait.  Luckily my husband was the best, I would have been too freaked to do it on my own... but our bodies are powerful, they know what to do.
 Since it was so early, we are going to honor our little bean by burying the ultrasound wrapped in a blanket I knit (in a shadow box from Michaels).  I feel like I got to process it while I waited for my body to catch up- I got to both celebrate that last week of being pregnant, but already mourned my little bean.  Our bodies are ruthless, but our hearts are endlessly loving. Thats what makes us special as women.....

I miscarried naturally at home, and just told everybody my period had finally started. 
I didn't want anyone too know, I was so embarrassed and ashamed thinking there was something wrong with me... About 8weeks

I'm having a natural one right now. The baby died at 7 weeks 5 days, found out via ultrasound at 8 weeks 5 days. Started bleeding at 9 weeks 2 days and baby passed out of my body at exactly 10 weeks. Now I'm still bleeding at what would be 10 weeks 3 days.

I would have liked to do it naturally but we were supposed to be 11 weeks when we found out our baby stopped growing at 7 weeks. I waited another 4 days, nothing was happening and I scheduled a D&C. It took a lot of thought and talking it over with my husband to decide which to do (D&C or pills) but I couldn't bear the thought of him having to watch me go through that without being able to help at all.

We opted for a chemically induced abortion of what was left of our baby. It stopped growing at 9.5 weeks but we noticed the loss at 10.  I didn't want to wait and couldn't handle the idea of a D&C...

It was very difficult for us. Our doctor prescribed norcos for pain and I couldn't keep them down throughout the entire ordeal and just bared through.

If we are doomed with another MC, I'd like to think I could accept the D&C procedure. But loosing a baby at home felt "right" or as right as I could make if the situation. Next time I just won't tell anyone for a long time

I opted to have a D&C because for one I thought I was 12 weeks but baby only measured 9.5weeks, so for 2.5 weeks I had no clue baby passed and didn't have any cramping/pain or bleeding for those 2.5 weeks. Didn't start spotting till the day before my scheduled prenatal appt which is when we found out and baby had no heart beat and they called it a "missed miscarriage". So it wasn't passing naturally and also I have had a close family member go through a natural passing and it sounded horrible to go through. Every one is different though.

I had a D&C today and so far only minor cramping and spotting. Baby stopped growing at 6 weeks 4 days and we never heard a heartbeat. D&C was at 8 weeks. I am glad I did it so that we can test to try to identify any chromosomal causes and also begin the healing process.

I had a d&c but didn't want to. I waited a week for miscarriage to happen naturally but it didn't. So I took the pills and they didn't work, dr said I needed d&c due to waiting too long could cause infection.

I have to have a D&C. Separate of my miscarriage, they found a mass that no one can figure out after 5 ultrasounds. They need it out so they can biopsy it. Scheduled for this week.

I'm having a natural one right now. I passed the sac tonight. It was kind of a traumatizing experience for me. I never wanted to see that kind of stuff :( I didn't want to take the risks of a D&C though. The cramps are more like contractions but they only came when the placenta and the sac were getting ready to come out. Otherwise it's been pain free.
