Last prom & can't go

So I got asked to prom, super exciting!! I bought my dress and got my nails done, booked hair and makeup appointments and had to pay in advance. Then yesterday my date receives our prom tickets so I asked him for mine and he replies with "I'm taking someone else" I said well what am I suppose to do he the says "you can buy your own" prom is today, just need somewhere to vent to...im super sad I cried in the middle of school. I spent so much money already :( I'm so sad why are boys douche bags haha
