Am I weird?

My friends are both pregnant, due soon and I will not touch their bellies. I love kids, I just don't want any and the thought of having one grow inside of me freaks me out, it's so weird to think about. and they think I can't be truly happy never becoming a mother but it's something that I just never want to experience.

Nothing weird with that. Most women do want children so it could be hard for them to understand why you don't want one but it's not wrong, weird, or abnormal. It's just your preference. My sister wants to have her tubes tied and never havs children of her own, she's content with life knowing she doesn't want children. As long as that's what will make you happiest in life then that's okay! Don't let it get to you, they may also have different views because they are already having a child grow inside them and the bond/attachment is already there so it would be hard for them to say that they don't want the child at this point. At least that's what I'm guessing.

You are not weird. My oldest sister was the same way. As soon as she learned the reproductive system she was saying I am never having children and let me tell you she is very happy with where she is in life and doesn't regret not having children.

No you're not weird. Some days I think about kids and I'm not sure if I have it in me to have them some day. And I think touching pregnant women's bellies is strange. I don't like being touched and I know if I ever do get pregnant, I will be very annoyed if someone just touches my belly
