Kidney infection at 10 weeks

Hey ladies. I've never posted before, but now that I'm in the hospital with a kidney infection I thought I'd let you know my symptoms and causes. I'm 10 weeks along and I started getting severe rib pain on my left side. Front and back, it would radiate up and down and almost feel like my ribs were getting pushed out. I looked online and thought it was only my uterus growing or intestines moving. I took Tylenol twice in one day for the pain, but that night the excruciating pain woke me up at 5 am. I came to the hospital later that day and was diagnosed with a kidney infection. It seems That due to my severe morning sickness (can't keep any food or water down) I became dehydrated. Also, as a pregnant woman, we are all prone to UTI's and kidney infections. So if you're having severe morning sickness and can hardly keep anything down please see your doctor immediately! I'm now on two rounds of antibiotics, magnesium, potassium and IV. The doctor has prescribed some medication for my morning sickness and hoping this goes away soon. Take care ladies!
