Too fast?

Question

I was with my ex for 7months. It turned into a really toxic relationship and we broke up and cut all ties. I was single for a month and met a new guy and i am not in a new relationship with him. We just clicked instantly. Do you think thats moving too fast?

Nope, I was with my ex for 10 years... was completely single for less than a month. (I tried to work things out with him for months, but we both knew it was over, then stayed together through the holidays for the sake of his 2 little sisters) the last 3 months I told him I was done trying when I knew he wasn't going to treat me any better  (he was very verbally, and emotionally abusive) and he also knew when I started talking to my now boyfriend... at the time my boyfriend now and I both had things that needed to be settled before we could be together, but it didn't take long. Sometimes you just know. Even after trying to fix a 10 year relationship, I knew that he wasn't the right one, and that the one I am with now is definitely the one I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with!
