I never want kids

I'm 18 and never want children. I was raped a day before my 16 birthday that resulted in a pregnancy and misscarrrige. I just don't want any offspring. I am currently a CNA at a huge hospital and advocating others who went through what I did. I'm attending college in fall and applying to nursing school at the end of my second year for my BS degree. I want to help others and I don't hate kids or babies, but I'd rather not bring any more into this world. Heck I've even been babysitting for 9 years and kids bring so much joy to my heart.

There are at least 5 girls my age who are pregnant or have a kid already. I am not hating on them becaus it is both of the male and woman's responsibilities, but I just can't imagine having a child at this age. I need to get an education before anything in my life. If I had a child last year of was pregnant now, I wouldn't be able to go to a 4 year university and become an RN. I wouldn't be able to follow my dreams. Call my rude or whatever, but I think having a child in highschool and before you have a chance to actually see what real life has to offer as well as educating yourself is 100% important. This world need intelligent people. Almost anyone can get pregnant and pop out a baby, but even less have the decency to educate themselves, earn an education, get a livable salary, and give back to the world.
