Lots to think about.. (Warning: kind of lengthy post)

So recently my SO and I were given our first bill after our doctors visit and it was a pretty significant amount.. Currently I'm under my father's insurance, but it doesn't cover much and my SO and I don't have enough between the two of us without us struggling to get by.. My SO and his father spoke and it was suggested that if we were to get married then I would be under his insurance which would cover everything 100% bc of his good profession.. My SO and I have spoken before of marriage, but only in future reference and I know that he is the one that I want to be with, but we both feel like if we rush into it now we won't be able to do it all the right way.. For him he's upset he wouldn't be able to get me the engagement ring that he feels I deserve bc of low funds and we overall just feel like we'll be pressured when the time just isn't right.. But if we don't, then we'll be faced with some pretty hefty bills come October after our baby is born :/ no decisions are being made yet, but I just don't what to do 😔
