Ovulation after miscarriage?

Anyone ovulate before hcg was back to zero after miscarriage?  I had a miscarriage 3/18, had my blood drawn 3/28 to make sure hcg was dropping (it was dropping like it should be but not at zero yet) I was told to wait two weeks and take hpt to see if it was negative or not yet. I took one two days ago and it was still positive, I have never had to use ovulation tests because my body is pretty predictable and I could always tell just my monitoring my cm and judging by that and a few other symptoms in having right now I feel like I am definitely ovulating... Possible?

Hmm. I'm not sure. My pregnancy test was super faint (like I could barely see the line) 13 days after my D&C. I had ovulation pain on Thursday and Friday so took another test yesterday, and it was negative. My guess is that you wouldn't produce an egg if your HCG was still present. How faint was the test line two days ago? It's possible your level could've dropped by now if it was super faint.

According to studies accessible online, HCG has no effect on ovulation after miscarriage if it was an “abortion” MC which is just a natural mc. Im not sure if this is helpful to you but I want to say anything is possible. Our bodies are unpredictable.

I had my MC on 12th March and it took 4 weeks to get my hcg to 0, that was two days ago and I have had a flashing smiley on the clearblue OPK today. I don't think you can ovulate while you still have positive hcg. You could always get blood tests run to see what you exact level is?
