Guys please help a girl understand..
I know this is not a board for me but I'm really struggling with my husband. We have a great relationship and work very well as a couple together. Before baby the only thing I can complain about is the cuddling. He doesn't like to lay close to me on the couch or in bed... His sex drive is also practically nonexistent. He is ex Air Force for 8 years medically discharged so I get sex actually physically hurts him but what's so bad about a cuddle or two?
As of right now we're 36 weeks pregnant with our first child that's a boy and I have seen, watched and felt this little guy move around and kick and I'm loving every minute but my husband has not yet. He doesn't cuddle. Doesn't get close and there for also doesn't express interest to feel his boy moving around.
I put the baby room together on my own w/o his help because he doesn't show interest.. I finally got him to the store yesterday to pick up the coming home outfit with me. I don't see how, when we were younger, he wanted this so badly and now I feel he may be regretting this.
My dad says he will "wake up" when the baby comes out..
Sorry for the long rant but I didn't wanna leave anything out. and with that I. Will say he has been helping me with my pregnancy as a person. He helps me with me feet when it comes to cuts or if I need my shoes retired. Helps me up when I'm feeling too big. He lets me talk baby things with him but I don't feel he's completly listening...
Can any one give any advice to a soon to be first time mom with her soon to be first time dad to be husband? I'm truly at a loss and don't understand.
