Miscarriage :'(

I had a Dr appt today. Was excited to hear the heartbeat for the first time. I was 11 weeks and 5 days. He couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler. So he took me in for a sonogram. He still couldn't find the heartbeat. I knew something was wrong. He sent me to the hospital for a vaginal ultrasound. She wouldn't let me see the screen. I went back to my doctors office and he told me there was No heartbeat.... I had lost my baby. I was devastated. I still am. Just when I think I'm done crying it starts all over again. I go in for a D&C Wednesday to get everything cleaned out. Any advice on what to expect? How to cope with this? I'm so lost....
