Marriage is for two human beings that love eachother and want to make a promise to one another and to show the world how much they mean it.

I don't agree that marriage is just about love. Marriage is a lot more than that, it's a full commitment to another person. It's promising to be there even when you are mad at each other. It's about having the same goals and helping each other achieve them. It's about figuring out how to work together. It's about being a team and (sometimes) bringing children into this world, and raising them up to be good, honest, kind people.

I think love is an important factor in marriage, but not the ONLY factor.
