Nuva ring?

Question

Looking into birth control for after this baby.

I had IUD before the baby and it worked we'll but did get lost or moved around and almost had surgery to remove it....

I was thinking Nuva ring but wanted to see what everyone's thought about it?

Pros, cons, did it work, did it fail ect!

I am on nuvaring, I really like it compared to the pill because there's more consistency, I don't have to remember to take something every day, etc. I have had only positive experiences with it, though of course everyone's body and cycles are different. For the first couple weeks was definitely a bit more anxious than usual, that was the main side effect I noticed. I feel like it's a happy medium between pills and longer term contraceptives like the IUD- you don't have to worry about it when it's in, but if there's a problem, you can easily stop using it/remove it without needing a doctor's visit

I went on nuva ring after having my second child. I ended up getting pregnant while properly using nuva ring! So I had a 3 month old and another on the way...Lol. My doctor told me..after I was already pregnant...That there's higher chance of pregnancy on nuva ring. But it was the best thing that could have ever happened :-)

I got pregnant with my first while on the nuva ring. Was 16 at the time. She's now 6 and the greatest blessing ever, but I'd avoid the nuva ring. (My mother is an obgyn nurse so yes I knew how to use the nuva ring, it wasn't from lack of protection by any means)

I was on it for a long time. I had zero problems with it and it did not fail for me. I had shortened periods usually only like 3 days with one heavier day. You need to keep track of when you need to take it out and when you need to put in a new one.

Not a fan of nuvaring. Also was PP said you can't use the ring while breastfeeding.

If you're planning on breastfeeding it's better to use a progestin-only type of birth control so Nuva ring may not be the best choice

I was on it and I hated it but I also had really bad periods before that and every month I'd get horrible cramps to the point were I was bent over in pain with it in me

I like it I'm currently on it. 
When I first got it my breasts were tender but after that I was fine.
