Recommend a type of birth control?

I started birth control after I became sexually active. I started with the pill (portia, not sure if that is spelled correct) I was on it for about 7 months, it didn't correct my periods and they were extremely heavy.. I have had my period since I was 14 and I'm now 19 and they still aren't regular. I went to the nexplanon as my doctor recommend it, I've had it since December 2015 and I've been bleeding ever since. Days where I don't bleed have been rare. It's not even spotting either it's full on period. I'm extremely anemia and it makes me so tired. I'm getting it out tomorrow as my doctor doesn't want me on it anymore.. Any recommendations or one you have had good experiences with for example the patch or nuvaring. Thanks girls!
