Ttc with PCOS

HI everyone my name is Nikki and I am new here. My husband and I have been trying for 4 years to conceive and have had no luck =( . I had tried clomid 3 times and has failed all three. My husband had got tested and came up he can have kids and I had went threw test and all came back I could to but it would take work . My doctor now is going to have me try 2000mg of metformin and 250 mg of clomid . I want to hear if any of you have had any success while doing this. My periods are ALWAYS irregular and I have to take progesterone to bring it on . So if any of you have success or advice it would be greatly appreciated cause I'm almost losing hope =( .
