My SO won't defend me

Today my husband received a text from one of his family members stating that I created a fake fb page to talk mess to him and his baby's mother. My husband asked if it was true. I was a little upset that he asked me and should've known I'm not a person who would do that. So I responded "NO" he then says okay baby. I asked what he said to his family member and he responded " I asked him to send me whatever it is he's getting" I was so surprised and just shocked. So I flipped out on him. Please tell me I did not overact?
