Uterus size???

Question

I am 29 weeks and 3 days. My uterus was measuring 27 1/2 cm. does that mean my due date is wrong?! The doctor didn't seem concerned. But I thought the amount of CM is supposed to be equal to the amount of weeks you are. Does anyone know??

It's equal to plus or minus 2 centimeters. So I'm 32 weeks right now and I could measure 30-34 centimeters and the doctor wouldn't be concerned. At least my doctor wouldn't.

Ideally, your fundal height and your gestation week should match, but often times they don't line up exactly. Unless you're measuring several weeks off, there's no cause for alarm. If you were a few weeks ahead or behind, they would do an US and the like. At this point, I'd say you've got nothing to worry about 😊

No it does not. I was 27 weeks measuring at 25 weeks and then I was 29 weeks measuring to 31 it all just depends on fluid and how the baby is laying. :) perfectly normal.

I went today for my 32 weeks appointment and I am only measuring 28. I have a growth scan next week and I'm praying it's just because I've always been small.

I wouldn't worry if your doctor isn't worried. I am also 29weeks and the first time I was measured I came out under the 10th percentile and a week behind then a few weeks later my little one was measuring a week ahead. I ended up having to have a growth scan due to the drastic jump in size but baby showed to be perfectly healthy and on the small side in the 30th percentile. The tape measuring Deffo isn't accurate and I wouldn't worry to much about it, they will scan you if they think something is up 😃
