advice.. please.

my boyfriend apparently has this "best friend" that's a girl. I find it odd that he ditched me to hangout with her, later that night I found out that she had stayed the night with him for two nights. should I confront him? he gets mad so easily and I don't want him to leave me. 😞 he's been "done" with me before over stupid stuff. help please.
